MANILA, Philippines – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has found one of those who uploaded the gory video on the Mamasapano bloodbath in North Cotabato.

However, Atty. Dante Gierran, Regional Director ng NBI-Davao said the man claimed he is not the original uploader of the video.

“We’ve managed to trace him. We invited him for questioning and he voluntarily agreed,” Gierran said.

Gierran said the man got the video from a Muslim friend from Pikit, North Cotabato.

He said the man uploaded it because he thought it was “interesting.”

Gierran refused to identify the man because he will be their lead in tracking down the original uploader of the video.

The video is a six-minute clip showing a member of the Special Action Force being shot at closed range in the chest and neck. Then, a group of men gathered the firearms and ammunition of the fallen commandos.

Justice Secretary Leila de Lima said once validated, they will use the video as evidence.
