Mister International 2014 finals moved to Feb. 14
MANILA, Philippines—The Mister International 2014 finals in South Korea, which was scheduled on February 12, was moved to February 14.
Media reports said the pageant was moved to Saturday because the venue was not available.
The pageant was initially scheduled in October 2014 but was moved to November 2104 and again re-scheduled to February this year.
Police Officer 2 Mariano Flormata, also known as Mister International Philippines Neil Perez, is the country’s representative to the pageant who will compete for the title against representatives from 43 countries.
Perez’s bid for the title Mister International 2014 comes amid the death of 44 Special Action Force commandos of the Philippine National Police (PNP) in a deadly clash with Moro rebels in Mamasapano, Maguindanao on Jan. 25.
The police officer in previous interviews has said that he is dedicating his bid to the fallen 44 policemen.
