Raising health issues in media at meet
MANILA, Philippines–After the success of the last conference’s “Communicating Risk,” the National Communication Research Conference is taking the health route this year. “Health is wealth,” hence, the 4th NCRC has for its theme, “Communicating Health, Wellness and Leisure.”
The conference will be held Feb. 16-17 at the University of the Philippines College of Mass Communication (UP CMC) in Diliman, Quezon City. Opening ceremonies will be held at the UP Cine Adarna.
Expected to draw journalism and communication educators and students from colleges and universities nationwide, the conference will feature research papers on how health, wellness and leisure have been communicated.
