New metallurgical engineers announced

MANILA, Philippines – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Thursday announced the results of the recent Metallurgical Engineering Licensure Examination.

Three out of the six examinees, all from the University of the Philippines, passed that test held from February 10 to 12 this year at the PRC’s Manila branch.

Below are the list of passers:

1. Barranco, Ariane Alcantara – University of the Philippines

2. Chan, Hilary Chelsea Velasquez – University of the Philippines

3. Rodolfo, Alyssa Soriano – University of the Philippines

The registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Cards will start on February 26. Applicants are required to bring their accomplished Oath Form, Community Tax Certificate, 2 pieces passport size (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps, and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession. They will be asked to pay the initial registration fee of P600 and annual registration fee of P450 for 2015-2018.

The exam passers will also be asked to personally sign the Roster of Registered Professionals before the oath-taking ceremonies. KS
