MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon will continue to bring cloudy skies with light rains on Thursday in Luzon and Eastern Visayas.

“The regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Bicol and Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains,” the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

The northeast monsoon, which is responsible for the cold winds, will prevail until early March.

The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, Pagasa said.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the whole archipelago with moderate to rough seas.
