MANILA, Philippines — Light rains are forecast on Wednesday in parts of Luzon and Eastern Visayas due to the northeast monsoon.
“The regions of Cagayan Valley, Ilocos, Cordillera, Bicol and Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The northeast monsoon, which is bringing the cold weather, is likely to prevail until early March.
Partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies are forecast in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms., Pagasa said.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over the whole archipelago with moderate to rough seas.
