Bright Tuesday for Metro Manila

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila can expect a bright day Tuesday even as its skies will be partly cloudy and cloudy at times, the weather bureau said.

Illumination over the National Capital Region will be 98 percent, according to the Facebook of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

The same can be expected in most of Luzon except in the regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, which will have cloudy skies with light rain, Pagasa said.

According to the bureau, the northeast monsoon will continue to affect Luzon while the trough of a low pressure area (LPA) will prevail over the Eastern Visayas and the Caraga.

The Eastern Visayan, Caraga and Northern Mindanao regions will be cloudy with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms, Pagasa said.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
