MANILA, Philippines — The weather bureau on Monday morning warned residents in parts of the Visayas and Mindanao against possible flash floods and landslides that may be brought by heavy rain spawned by the through of a low pressure area (LPA).
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) specifically alerted people in Leyte, Bohol, and the regions of Caraga and Northern Mindanao.
Pagasa said the LPA would be bringing moderate to heavy rain in these areas.
The rest of Visayas will be cloudy with light to moderate rains.
