ALA fighter Pagara heads Maasin fight card Friday

UP and coming superflyweight prospect Albert Pagara of the ALA Gym of Cebu fights Anthony Galigao of Tagbilaran City, Bohol this Friday (May 20) in Maasin City, southern Leyte.

The Pagara vs. Galigao is a six rounder bout that will serve as the main event in a fight card that will be held at the Maasin City Gym. There will also be four professional bouts as well as amateur contests featuring local standouts.

The undefeated Pagara (4W-0L, 3 KO’s) turned pro last January and scored early knockout wins in his first three fights before going the full six rounds against Robert Awetin last March in Bacolod City on the Pinoy Pride 5 undercard. He is the younger brother of WBO Asia-Pacific lt.welterweight champion Jason Pagara.

Scheduled to see action in the undercard are Albert Villacampa vs. Junel Busano (six rounds), Jocel Gestopa vs. John Mark Dita (four rounds), and Ivor Lastrilla vs. Rey Simbajon (four rounds).
