MANILA, Philippines — The Senate on Tuesday approved on second reading a bill postponing the upcoming Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) elections scheduled on February 21, 2015.
After passing it on second reading , the Senate will now then vote on third and final reading to complete the process of its passage in the chamber.
The House of Representatives has already passed its own version of the bill, postponing the SK polls this year to October 2016.
