MANILA, Philippines—Baguio City recorded its lowest temperature so far this 2015, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Saturday.
Pagasa weather forecaster Alvin Pura told INQUIRER.net that Baguio’s temperature dropped to 10.4 degrees Celsius at around 5 a.m. this Saturday.
But Pura said people should expect colder mornings ahead as the “Amihan” or the northeast monsoon approaches its peak.
In its weather bulletin for Saturday, the state weather bureau said the regions of Cordillera, Ilocos and Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with light rains.
It said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains while the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
A tail-end of a cold front is affecting Eastern Visayas while a northeast monsoon is affecting Luzon, it added.
