MANILA, Philippines–The Pope doesn’t get tired at all.

This was the remark of Rosalinda Javier who was eagerly watching Pope Francis on a big screen at Luneta Park during his motorcade going to the University of Santo Tomas (UST) on Sunday.

The 43-year-old housewife from Tanza, Cavite, was among the millions of Filipino pilgrims at Luneta hoping to see the Pope amid the rain brought by Tropical Storm “Amang.”

Pope Francis, who rode on his popemobile going to UST, waved and smiled to the millions of crowd who warmly welcomed him along the streets of Manila.

During his convoy at UST, His Holiness would occasionally stop to hug and bless children.

“Hindi talaga napapagod si Pope (The Pope doesn’t get tired at all!)” Javier said, adding that she admires the Pope for his humility.

“Lalo na kapag bumubukas na yung bibig niya at ngumingiti siya (More so when he speaks and smiles),” she said.
