Pope Francis to take a break after UST visit

MANILA, Philippines — After the traditional visit to the University of Santo Tomas on Sunday, Pope Francis returned to the Apostolic Nunciature on Quirino Avenue to rest for a little while before celebrating Mass at the Quirino Grandstand in Luneta.

His Holiness met with religious leaders and youth groups in UST. He also delivered an allocution which tackled the plight of women, youth, and poor people. He left the campus in Manila at 11:52 a.m. wearing a yellow raincoat and riding his popemobile.

Pope Francis would celebrate the Holy Eucharist on Quirino Grandstand Sunday afternoon which is expected to attract six million people.
