WITH THE SUCCESS of four of the scheduled nine legs of the Health Run, Lapu-Lapu City Sports and Tourism chairman Harry Radaza said he now has potential runners that can make up the city’s running team.

According to Radaza, also a city councilor, the running event held in different venues around the city has already attracted around 2,000 runners, some of them tricycle drivers and street vendors.

“I am very glad because we have already reached this number,” said Radaza.  “I can see it in their faces that they enjoy the races. In fact, they are asking to extend the distances.”
