Minglanilla residents avail of free services
CLOSE to 200 residents of barangays Ward 2 and 3 in Minglanilla town, southern Cebu, availed of free services during the information caravan (infocar) and medical mission by the Association of Government Information Officers in Central Visayas (AGIO-7).
More than 100 children were circumcised, 20 adults availed of dental and medical consultations and over 50 others received various government services.
The medical and dental teams from the Philippine Air Force, Central Command and 53rd Engineer Brigade provided the dental and medical and circumcision services. The 53rd Engineering Brigade offered free haircut for the males.
Eddie Llamedo, barangays Ward 1 and 2 association president, said in his speech during the short program that the association will continue to bring development and services to the people through the information caravan.
The Infocar was held at the barangay hall of Ward 3 and at the Women’s Center of Minglanilla.
Barangay captains Annabel Sirames and Clifford Cabiles of Ward 2 and Ward 3 respectively said the people were thankful for the free services.
