MANILA, Philippines–A man was caught with 94 iPhones strapped to his body in an attempt to sneak in the high-end smartphones from Hong Kong to Guangdong province in China.

The China Daily reported that the man tried to smuggle 300, 000 yuan ($48,388) worth of iPhones, which were attached “to his chest, belly, thighs and shanks” using masking tape.

The man was trying to cross the border of Hong Kong-China on January 11 when immigration officials noticed his awkward movement.

The stolen phones are now under the custody of custom officials in China as the man is now under investigation. Nestor Corrales
