MANILA, Philippines—Save for a possibility of light rains in the morning, it will be generally sunny on most parts of the day in Metro Manila on Friday, the Feast of Black Nazarene, the state weather bureau said.
“Weather condition over Metro Manila will be generally sunny on most parts of the day with chances of passing light rains by Friday morning,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said in its special weather outlook for January 8-10.
Amihan or the northeast monsoon was expected to affect most parts of the country on Thursday until Saturday.
“Moreover, colder early morning temperature will be felt during the period while moderate to occasionally strong northeasterly winds will prevail,” Pagasa said.
A low-pressure area was spotted east of Mindanao but was still outside of the Philippine area of responsibility. It was still too far to affect any part of the country as of posting time.
