Two men who robbed a fast-food restaurant in Quezon City on Sunday morning also made off with the footage taken by the establishment’s closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera.

Supt. Limuel Obon of the Quezon City Police District said that two men entered the Kenny Rogers restaurant at the corner of Quezon Avenue and Scout Albano Street in Quezon City between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.

They pretended to be customers before they declared a heist and tied up everyone inside the restaurant, including the cashier Joanna Ejercito and a family which had dropped by for a meal.

The robbers fled on a motorcycle with P626,000 in cash and valuables, including the restaurant’s earnings. But before they did, they forced the security guard, Noel Mortus, to hand over the digital video recorder of the restaurant’s CCTV system.

The police, meanwhile, released computerized composite images of the robbers based on the description given by witnesses.
