MANILA, Philippines–It will probably take more than 30 minutes for Pope Francis to go around Luneta Park and bless people but it will only take him 10 minutes to give his homily.

Fr. Carmelo Arada Jr. said Pope Francis will give his homily for 10 minutes in English during the two-hour Mass on January 18.

The pontiff, who will lead the response to the Profession of Faith in Filipino, will concelebrate the mass with 2,500 priests and 200 bishops.

Fr. Rufino Sescon, who was also present during Monday’s regular press briefing for the papal visit, said the pope specifically requested to go around Luneta and meet the people before he celebrates Mass.
