MANILA, Philippines–Parts of Luzon will continue to experience rainshowers on Thursday evening, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its latest weather forecast.
The state weather bureau said Bicol region and Eastern Visayas are expected to have cloudy skies and moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, Metro Manila, Calabarzon (Region IV-A) and Mimaropa (Region IV-B) will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
The northeast monsoon continues to affect Northern and Central Luzon while a tail-end of a cold front will bring rains over Bicol region.
Meanwhile, tropical depression Seniang (international name: Jangmi), which has been downgraded to an exiting low pressure area, was located 345 kilometers south of Puerto Princesa as of 4 p.m. Thursday.
The rest of Luzon will experience isolated light rains while Cagayan Valley and Cordillera will have cloudy skies and light rains. The rest of Visayas and Mindanao will also have isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
