‘Seniang’ weakens into tropical depression

MANILA, Philippines–From a Tropical Storm, “Seniang” has once more weakened and is now a tropical depression, the weather bureau said.

In its 10 am bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical And Astronomical Services Administration said Tropical Depression “Seniang” now packs maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour and was last spotted at 9 am 245 kilometers south southeast of Cuyo, Palawan. Pagasa added that “Seniang” tracks a west southwest path at a pace of 13 kph. Meanwhile, Palawan, the lone province under public storm warning signal no. 1 will still experience moderate to heavy rains with occasional gusty winds.
