The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration said Seniang was moving west southwest at a slower speed of 13 kilometers per hour (from the previous 15 kph).
Seniang was spotted as of 4 a.m. Wednesday 150 km southwest of Cuyo, Palawan.
Public Storm Warning Signal No. 2 remained hoisted over Palawan where winds of 61-100 kph were expected in at least 24 hours.
Signal No. 1 was hoisted over Calamian Group of Islands and Cuyo Island, where winds of 30-60 kph were expected in at least 36 hours.
Residents in areas where storm signals are raised are warned against possible flash floods and landslides.
Pagasa said ocean waves may reach up to 5 meters.
