MANILA, Philippines – A 5.1-magnitude earthquake hit Surigao del Norte on Tuesday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
The quake, with a depth of 69 kilometers, was located 61 kilometers northeast of Burgos, Surigao Del Norte.
It occurred at 8:11 p.m. and was felt at Intensity III in Burgos and Intensity II in General Luna, Surigao del Norte and Surigao City.
