Two missing as Typhoon Pedring hits Mimaropa region

MANILA, Philippines –Two persons were confirmed missing in Region 4B or the Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) group of provinces as typhoon Pedring ravages Luzon, the Office of Civil Defense said Tuesday.

Region 4B Regional Director Eugene Cabrera identified one of the victims as Eddie Molina of Romblon town in the island-province of Romblon.

Cabrera failed to give the name of the second victim, who was only identified as a student at Lucena Eriron National High School who went missing while crossing the Nagati River in Kalintaan, Occidental Mindoro.
