MMDA sets traffic rerouting for Metro Filmfest parade

MANILA, Philippines–Motorists are advised to take alternate routes on Tuesday as some roads along Roxas Boulevard in Manila would be closed to traffic due to the 2014 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) parade.

The Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA), in an advisory on Monday, said the northbound lane of Roxas Boulevard from P. Ocampo to TM Kalaw would be closed to traffic starting 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Motorists who plan to use the northbound lane of the Roxas Boulevard should turn right at P. Ocampo Street going to their destination.

Meanwhile, motorists using the westbound lane of Quirino Avenue going to Roxas Boulevard should turn left to Adriatico Street, turn right at P. Ocampo Street and turn left at FB Harrison Street going to their destination.

People are expected to flock to the streets to witness the floats of the eight competing films in the 2014 MMFF Parade of Stars.
