MANILA, Philippines – As Pope Francis turns 78 Wednesday, INQUIRER.net takes a look back at seven iconic photos of the Pontiff highly regarded for his simple lifestyle and radical views.

The Pontiff is scheduled to visit the Philippines from Jan. 15 to 19, 2015. This is the #InquirerSeven list of iconic photos of Pope Francis.
