House, too, ratifies 2015 budget

MANILA, Philippines -The House of Representatives on Monday ratified the bicameral version of the proposed P2.606-trillion national budget for 2015.

Voting by voice, the lower chamber ratified the budget bill on the same day its Senate counterpart did the same. The ratified bicameral version of the budget will be submitted to President Benigno Aquino III for signature.

The proposed 2015 budget is 15.1 percent higher than the approved 2014 budget worth P2.265 trillion.
