MANILA, Philippines– The provinces of Aurora, Quezon and Palawan will have light to moderate rains and thunderstorms on Monday, the state weather bureau said.
The wet weather is due to the tail-end of a cold front over Southern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
The northeast monsoon, meanwhile, is affecting Northern Luzon.
The regions of Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera and Ilocos will have cloudy skies with light rains, Pagasa said.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Luzon with its coastal waters becoming moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.
