Ruby weakens to 85 kph
MANILA, Philippines – Tropical Storm “Ruby” has further weakened on Monday afternoon before its fourth landfall in Batangas.
The storm is expected to make landfall in Laiya in Batangas between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
Ruby packed maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour near the center and gusts of up to 100 kph. It was last observed 15 kilometers southeast of Laiya.
It is expected to exit Wednesday evening.
Metro Manila will experience the heavy rains and strong winds between 10 and 11p.m.

Article continues after this advertisement“Ruby and the northeast monsoon will cause rough to very rough sea conditions over the seaboards of Luzon and Visayas. Fisherfolk and those using small sea craft are advised not to venture out over the said seaboards,” Pagasa said.
There were no more areas placed under Signal No. 3. The areas with storm signals were:

LUZON: Metro Manila, Batangas, Cavite, Bataan, Laguna, Southern Quezon, Marinduque and Northern Oriental Mindoro including Lubang Island.

(Winds of 30-60 kph is expected in at least 36 hrs)
Zambales, Pampanga, Tarlac, Bulacan, Rizal, Rest of Quezon, Rest of Mindoro Provinces and Romblon.
