MANILA, Philippines–A total of 66 domestic flights of the Philippine Airlines scheduled for Monday were cancelled as Typhoon Ruby (Hagupit) lashes the eastern part of the country, the flag carrier announced.
As of 10 a.m. Sunday, PAL said the 37 cancelled roundtrip flights are as follows:
- Caticlan (8 flights)
- Tacloban (5 flights)
- Cebu (5 flights)
- Kalibo (3 flights)
- Davao(2 flights)
- Legazpi (2 flights)
- Bacolod (2 flights)
- Busuanga (2 flights)
- Naga (2 flights)
- Roxas (1 flight)
- Puerto Princesa (1 flight)
- Iloilo (1 flight)
- Tagbilaran (1 flight)
- Laoag (1 flight)
- Zamboanga (1 flight)
- Masbate (1 flight)
- Iloilo (1 flight)
The 16 cancelled Manila-inbound flights are as follows
- Cagayan de Oro (2 flights)
- Davao (2 flights),
- Dumaguete (2 flights)
- Dipolog (1 flight)
- Bacolod (1 flight)
- Laoag (1 flight)
- Tagbilaran (1 flight)
- Iloilo (1 flight)
- Cebu (1 flight)
- Zamboanga (1 flight)
- Surigao (1 flight)
- Tuguegarao (1 flight)
- Basco (1 flight)
1 flight from Manila to Davao was also cancelled.
PAL had already cancelled a total of 30 flights on Sunday, and a total of 14 flights on Saturday because of Typhoon Ruby.
