Today, Dec. 4, is the 74th death anniversary of historian, legislator and educator Teodoro M. Kalaw Sr. Born on March 31, 1884, he was the editor of the revolutionary newspaper, El Renacimiento. He served in the Philippine Assembly (1910-13) and was later appointed undersecretary of the interior. He also served as director of the National Library and Museum. He died in 1940.
