14 more domestic flights cancelled due to bad weather

MANILA, Philippines – Fourteen more domestic flights were cancelled Monday due to bad weather caused by Tropical Storm “Pedring” (international name: Nesat), a 990AM report said.

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said that 14 other flights were cancelled as of 10:30 a.m. on top of the 20 that were listed:

*Zest Air’s Z2 230 and Z2 231 bound for Virac, Catanduanes and back to Manila, Z2 220 which was set to fly from Legaspi to Naga City, and Manila-bound Z2 221 from Legaspi; and

*Cebu Pacific’s 5J 196 and 5J 197 bound for Cauayan, Isabela from Manila and back, 5J 323 and 5J 324 bound for Manila from Cauayan, Isabela and back; and Naga-bound 5J 523 and 5J 525 as well as their return flights 5J 524 and 5J 526; 5J 827 bound for Manila from Legaspi and its return flight 5J 828.

The 20 flights that were cancelled earlier in the day were:
* Philippine Airlines’ PR 277 bound for Legaspi and its return flight PR 278;

* Air Philippines 2P 021 and 2P 022 to Masbate and back to Manila; 2P 261 and 2P 262 bound for Naga and Manila; Legaspi-bound 2P 295 and its return flight to Manila 2P 926; 2P 265 bound for Naga and back 2P 266;

* Cebu Pacific’s ViracCatanduanes-bound 5J 821 and its return flight 5J 822; Calbayog-bound 5J 707 and return flight 5J 708; Legaspi flight 5J 325 and return flight 5J 326; Naga-bound 5J 521 and its flight back to Manila 5J 522; and
