MANILA, Philippines—Portions of Quezon Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue will be closed to traffic today, from noon to midnight, to give way to the 1st Quezon City International Marathon night run.

An event held in line with the city’s 75th anniversary celebration, the marathon kicks off at 8:30 p.m. at Quezon Memorial Circle, and will take up lanes on the two major thoroughfares.

To be closed on Quezon Avenue are the westbound and eastbound inner lanes from Sto. Domingo Church to Elliptical Road.
