MANILA, Philippines—The state weather bureau warned of heavy rains and possible flashfloods in Metro Manila on Tuesday afternoon.
“Thunderstorm is affecting Metro Manila (particularly Pasig, Bagumbayan, Cubao), Rizal (Antipolo, Cainta, Taytay) which may persist within two hours,” the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in its 1:15 p.m. advisory.
Light to moderate rains are affecting parts of Quezon (Gen. Nakar, Infanta, Real) and Batangas (Ibaan) which may persist for two to three hours.
“All are advised to take precautionary measures against heavy rains, strong winds, lightning and possible flashfloods,” Pagasa said.
