MANILA, Philippines–The Bicol region and Samar provinces will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rains due to the tail-end of a cold front affecting Southern Luzon, the weather bureau said Monday.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.
The easterlies are affecting eastern Mindanao.
Meanwhile, state-run Panahon TV said cloud clusters that could form into a low pressure area in 24 to 48 hours were spotted outside the Philippine area of responsibility east of Mindanao.
Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Northern Luzon and will make its coastal waters moderate to rough, Pagasa said.
Light to moderate winds from the northeast will prevail over the rest of Luzon, and from the east to northeast over Visayas and Mindanao, which will have slight to moderate seas, it added.
