MANILA, Philippines—It may be the Christmas season, but much of the Philippines will be experiencing warm weather on Tuesday, the weather bureau said.

In its weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that easterly winds will affect Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, bringing warm and moist air in those areas.

Parts of extreme Northern Luzon, however, will experience isolated light rains on Tuesday due to the northeast monsoon

“Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos Region will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains,” Pagasa said.

Pagasa added that “Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section.”

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east with slight to moderate seas.
