MANILA, Philippines – Some 42 senior Philippine National Police (PNP) officials aspiring to be promoted as regional directors started on Monday their six-day training to qualify for the position.
Organized by the Directorate for Human Resource and Doctrine Development (DHRDD), the training, according to DHRDD chief Police Director Alex Paul Monteagudo, will enhance the competencies and skills of senior police officials considered for the RD position.
Monteagudo said the Regional Directors Qualification Course is also aimed at ensuring that senior police officials have the “required knowledge, attitudes, skills, habits, and values” before they could serve as regional directors.
Participants are required to finish the training for 48 hours in six days.
