MANILA, Philippines—Amid the continuing congestion at the Port of Manila, government agencies and two major port operators will be addressing key port concerns in a summit hosted by the Port Users Confederation (PUC).

The PUC, which groups major sectors using or providing port services, in collaboration with research company the Center for Strategy, Enterprise & Intelligence, will host “The Ports Summit” on Nov. 17 at The Manila Hotel.

PUC president Rodolfo de Ocampo said officials from the Department of Transportation and Communications, Bureau of Customs, Philippine Ports Authority, National Competitiveness Council, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, Asian Terminals Inc. and International Container Terminal Services Inc. will attend the summit.
