Plane carrying 16 foreign tourists crashes in Nepal – police

KATHMANDU – A small aircraft taking tourists on a sightseeing tour of the Himalayas has crashed in Nepal, police said Sunday.

“The Buddha Air plane carrying three Nepali crew, 16 foreign passengers and one Nepali crashed at Godavari, 10km from Kathmandu,” police spokesman Binod Singh said.
