Did you know: 104th birth anniversary “Kenkoy” Antonio Velasquez

Today, Oct. 29, is the 104th birth anniversary of the Father of Philippine Comics and creator of “Kenkoy” Antonio Velasquez. Born in 1910 in Paco, Manila, Velasquez was president of the Association of Publishers and editor of Philippine Comics Magazines for eight years. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
