MANILA, Philippines–A building still under construction in the upscale Rockwell Center, Makati City caught fire on Monday afternoon, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
Fire broke out in skyscraper Lopez Center Tower along Rockwell Drive in Barangay (village) Poblacion around 2:20 p.m., the MMDA said in its official Twitter account.
The fire has reached first alarm as of posting time.
