MANILA, Philippines—Fair and warm weather is expected for Thursday as eastern trade winds hover over the Philippines, the weather bureau said.
In its weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said easterlies are affecting Luzon and Visayas.
Pagasa added that the whole country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms especially in the eastern section of the Philippines.
Pagasa has issued an advisory of light to moderate with occasional heavy rains in parts of Luzon, while state-run Panahon.TV said that the easterlies will continue to generate showers mostly in the afternoon and evening.
