In the Know: The Woodlands

MANILA, Philippines–The Woodlands is among the 10 communities found in Highland Homes, a luxurious residential community in Tagaytay City in Cavite province.

Units in the 40-hectare community are inspired by North American cedar log cabins sporting a “rustic and hunting lodge look.”

The “well-designed, ergonomically laid out units” feature wipe-and-shine hardwood floors, imported prefabricated kitchen systems, air-conditioning units, water heaters, entrance and carport lights, and maintenance-free roofs.

Owner of the unit enjoys 100-percent emergency power supply as well as full housekeeping and security services.

Surrounded by more than 40,000 pine trees, the units come either in single-family or multifamily type.

Single-family units are either four-bedroom models measuring 240 square meters or three-bedroom models with 350-sqm space.

The three-story multifamily type houses four independent, self-contained residences with two one-bedroom units measuring 120 sqm and two two-bedroom units measuring 165 sqm.

The Woodlands was developed by Belle Corp., a leading Philippine developer of high-end residential and leisure properties that began in 1989.

Belle Corp.’s projects in Tagaytay City cover approximately 1,280 hectares and include golf and country clubs, and residential communities Highland Homes, Midland Homes and Greenland Homes.–Inquirer Research
