LPA to bring rains to southern PH
MANILA, Philippines—The low pressure area (LPA) spotted east of Mindanao on Tuesday morning was estimated to be 150 kilometers east of Surigao City at 4 a.m. Thursday.
In its early-morning forecast on Thursday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Calabarzon, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, Visayas and Caraga will be cloudy with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Pagasa added that Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
