Nurse kills 38 patients because they’re ‘annoying’

MANILA, Philippines— An Italian nurse was charged with murder after being suspected of killing 38 patients because they were “annoying.”

Daniela Poggiali, 42, was arrested by police after the death of 78-year old Rosa Calderoni due to a fatal injection or high dose of potassium chloride, the Huffington Post reported.

Calderoni’s death happened while Poggiali was on duty, it said quoting a report from the Italian newspaper Corriere di Bologna.

Police investigation showed 37 other patients under her supervision died in suspicious circumstances, saying she may have killed all the patients because she thought that they or their families were annoying.
