MANILA, Philippines—An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) affecting southern Luzon will bring cloudy skies and light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms to Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon and Mimaropa on Monday, the weather bureau said.

In its 5 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration also said strong to gale-force wind is expected to affect the northern and eastern seaboard of northern Luzon.

Pagasa added that the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
