Did you know: Enrique M. Fernando

Today, Oct. 13, is the 10th death anniversary of former Chief Justice Enrique M. Fernando. Born on July 25, 1915, in Malate, Manila, Fernando was appointed chief justice on July 2, 1979, the 13th to hold the post, after the sudden death of Chief Justice Fred Ruiz Castro.
