No one injured in MOA Ferris wheel fire

MANILA, Philippines- No person was hurt after the Ferris wheel near the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) caught fire on Friday morning.

The SM management in a statement said a fire hit the motor room of the MOA Eye at around 10 a.m.

However, no one was injured since the ride was not yet operational.

“The fire department responded quickly and was able to put it out immediately. No one was hurt in the said incident as the ride was not yet open then,” SM said in a statement.
