CEBU CITY, Philippines—Two armed men robbed a remittance center in Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City past noon on Thursday and escaped with P40,000 in cash.
Police said a man wearing a ball cap entered Western Union branch on R. Duterte Street, at 12:57 p.m. and pretended to be a customer. A few seconds later, another man wearing a helmet entered the establishment.
Both then pulled out their guns and declared a hold-up.
They took the P40,000 from the cash box as well as the bags of three Western Union personnel.

He said there was a close circuit television (CCTV) inside the establishment. The footage, he added, could be enhanced to determine the identities of the robbers.
