Rains seen in Visayas, Mindanao due to ITCZ
MANILA, Philippines—Rains are set to fall over several areas in the southern parts of the Philippines on Monday as converging winds affect Mindanao, the weather bureau said.
In its weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that the Intertropical Convergence Zone hovers over Mindanao.
Central Visayas, the provinces of Palawan, Leyte, Negros Occidental, Ilocos Norte, Cagayan and the whole of Mindanao would have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms.
